It’s so good to see blue skies again over Sydney. We were away in Tasmania for the last short spell – all of 1 day – of good weather a week ago. but it looks like the sun’s here to stay. It’s still a bit too cold for a dip in this pool though.

This week has been a lot of fun though. A visit from our friend Carly from Smaggle.com as Mrs romance and she get ready for the next bit blog big sessions, some great burger action, some killer sunsets and our top ideas on how to find the ideal space for a mobile office.

Enjoy our most current Instagram Diary. It’s quite a pretty one this week.

We’ve made a new burger discovery! This is this week’s burger special at the east village hotel in Balmain. What you’re looking at is crispy 5 flavor pork belly with hoisin, Asian slaw and Sriracha mayo.

This bad boy’s only $10 when you buy a drink, and it just so happens that the east village has some great Aussie beers on tap.

Now that the sun’s out at last, we’re taking advantage of a bit of outdoor blogging. Mrs romance (feet on the right) and Carly from Smaggle.com (on the left) have found the perfect spot on the edge of Sydney Harbour. They’re busy getting everything ready for the bit blog big seminar they’ll be holding in Melbourne next weekend.

I’m off to the city early this morning. These fishermen have been here all night. Not a bad spot to throw in a line.

[Ed. these people were here all the time – Mrs romance saw them about 8 hours later.]

We’ve taken an hour off to get hold of a coffee with Smaggle while she’s in Sydney. love the tables at Euforia Cafe, especially as from here you get a view of the Harbour Bridge. The coffee’s not bad either!

How good do these choc strawberries look?! We found these the other day while we were exploring the MLC Centre’s new look. It’s the first revamp this food court – right in the heart of the city – has had in years and it’s looking really good.

The MLC Centre is also our new much-loved place in the city to work when we’re away from the office. It’s got everything right there – including fast free wifi – and the food options here are excellent.

Check out our post on how to use the city your office here.

It’s a long weekend this weekend and Mrs romance is getting her Friday off to the right kind of start. how good does this charcuterie plate from The Cottage Bar & kitchen look? and I know from personal experience that those chips are absolutely superb.

Tonight, Mrs romance is having a play with some night photography. how pretty does the city look? She did this with our much-loved blogging tool – our OM-D E-M10 Olympus camera. This was taken with a 2-second shutter speed and a very small aperture. Simple!

This weekend’s all about making the most of the sunny weather. Mrs romance has pretty much summed it all up with this shot. A ferry ride and an ice cream by the harbour – you can’t get much better than that, can you?

I love these two shots Mrs romance has taken. The one on the left is of the Anzac Bridge at sunset and the one on the right is the the following morning at sunrise.

And this is my shot of the sunrise over the city today a bit additionally round from where Mrs romance took her shot. love the colours on the water.

Don’t miss out on your chance to see Mrs romance and Smaggle in action at this season’s bit blog Big. They’re running 4 one-day events in the four capital cities of the Australian east coast, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Sydney.

Grow your blog to its next level with these two masters of their trade. They’re also quite funny!

I’ll leave you this week with this cracker of a shot Mrs romance took of the Opera house from the ferry into town. It’s a public holiday in new South Wales today, so if you’re enjoying a day off like us, have an excellent day. If you’re at work, we hope it’s not too busy for you and that Friday comes along nice and fast.

How has your week been? tell us all about it in the comments!
